SNU 480 - Nursing Leadership and Management (Nursing)

This course focuses on the development of leadership skills for professional nursing practice.  Current social, economic, legal, ethical, and policy issues affecting health care systems are explored.  Includes analysis of care that supports effective utilization of the healthcare delivery system.  Students will complete a Nursing Leadership Capstone project.  Includes 30 hours of practicum. 


Credits: 3.

When Offered: OBC session 2.

RN to BSN students only. 

Prerequisites: SNU 315 ; SNU 442 , SNU 470 

Corequisites:  SNU 473 , SNU 474 , or SPL 340 .
