An introduction to the history, theory, and practice of art therapy and the interpretation of visual language. A combined lecture, discussion, and experiential course. Students become acquainted with art therapy practice through readings, discussion, exploration of their own image-making, and conscious reshaping of their responses to the image-making of others.
