This is a seminar that emphasizes the professional responsibilities found in the companion course, the student teaching experience SED 433 or SED 434 . The Pennsylvania Code of Ethical Behavior is examined. Additionally job search strategies, portfolio development, and professional competencies comprise the topics for discussion in this course.

When Offered: Fall and spring semesters.
Prerequisites: Completion of all courses required for certification; “B” or better in SED 201 or SED 202 , and SED 432 ; cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better; and approval of Education faculty.
Corequisite: SED 433 or SED 434 .
