Students critique as well as compose their own creative, multimodal texts (texts that combine writing with other modalities such as images, sounds, movement, etc.) in digital environments. Principles from rhetorical theory including audience, purpose, ethos, and other rhetorical devices (metaphor, juxtaposition, etc.) are applied in the analysis and composition of multimodal texts.

Prerequisite: Sophomore status required.
