SPH 106 - College Physics I (Physics)

This course is a trigonometry-based physics course that covers topics in the mechanics of motion. The course covers linear and nonlinear approximations in motion, acceleration, Newton’s laws, gravity, work, circular motion, momentum and fluids, graph analysis, and problem solving skills. 


Credits: 3.

When Offered: Fall semester.  

Prerequisite: SMA 117 or equivalent passing score - ALEKS Placement Assessment. 

Corequisite:  SPH 107 .
