Examines the development of the counseling professions; major contemporary theories of counseling, the relationship of the theories studied to clinical practice, and the components of an adequate theory. Students articulate their own developing theoretical orientations. Must be completed with a grade of B- (2.67) or higher for continuation in the art therapy program.
