SPY 915 - Introduction to Research Methods (Psychology)3 Credit(s)
This course introduces students to fundamentals of research methodology. Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches are covered. Students learn how to critically evaluate and apply the implications of research to the practice of counseling and art therapy and develop knowledge and skills for becoming critical consumers of research. Students will emphasize perspectives and strategies they bring to the conduct of research. Must be completed with a grade of B- (2.67) or higher for continuation in the art therapy program.
