SNU 201 - Health and Physical Assessment (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform health assessments and physical examinations. Emphasis will be placed on the development of a systematic approach to clinical decision-making. Students learn to incorporate communication skills, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and professional values into health assessment. Principles of documentation and informatics are discussed.

Nursing majors only.
Prerequisite: SNU 101 with a B- or higher.
Corequisites: SHL 214 , SHL 215 and SNU 202 .
