SNU 460 - Transition to Professional Practice

This course is designed to facilitate the student’s development and transition into the professional nursing role after graduation.  Principles of leadership, management, and organizational processes in health care systems are included.  The role of the nurse in quality improvement, outcome measurement, patient safety, and teamwork is emphasized.  Preparation for professional exams is included.
