SNU 461 - Transition to Practice Practicum

This practicum (clinical experience) provides the opportunity for students to apply and synthesize leadership and management principles in prioritizing and delivering nursing care to groups of patients in the acute care setting.  Under guided experiences with a registered nurse preceptor, students will integrate previous evidence-based learning and increase accountability for the care of patients and their families.  Advanced simulation experiences and preccptcd clinical experiences arc included to facilitate the transition to professional nursing practice.
