SNU 470 - Advanced Nursing Topics (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
This course focuses on advancing knowledge and clinical reasoning skills in nursing practice. Students will examine their role in the evaluation of nurse-sensitive indicators, standards, and core measures to develop an evidence-based practice approach to care. Students explore the relationship of genetics and genomics to health and illness as well as infection-control issues. Topics will include advanced pharmacology, pathophysiology and nursing assessment skills.
