Acute care/hospital experiential learning in the clinical phase of nutrition and dietetics practice.  Competence development in design and application of medical nutrition therapy to meet clients’/patient’s needs, documentation, interviewing, and counseling. Counts towards mandatory experiential learning hours per accreditation organization and provides the student the opportunity to apply their knowledge of medical nutrition therapy to the practice of nutrition dietetics in the cute care setting. 

Credits: 6.

When Offered: Spring semester. 

Prerequisite: SNT 415  and SNT 450 .
