SMU 433 - Student Teaching: Music (Music)

This is the course aligned with the student teaching internship placement in conjunction with SMU 435 .  Students take 12 credits student teaching:  6 credits Elementary and 6 credits Secondary. This combination of courses meet the Pennsylvania Department Education (PED) requirements for PreK-12 Music certification.

 Credits: 6.

 When Offered: Fall and spring semester.

 Repeatable for credit.

 Pre-requisite: Completion of all courses required for certification, “B-” or better in achieved at least a B in SMU320, SMU330, SMU331, and SMU333; cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better; passing scores on Basic Skills Assessment; and approval of Music Education faulty.
