SBL 120 - Global Infections and Inequalities (Biology)3 Credit(s)
This course introduces students of all majors to infectious diseases across the world with a special emphasis on Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Students will learn from global examples and examine the consequences of human inequalities on the spread, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases. Students will have the opportunity to dive into the intersectionality of epidemiology, public health, biology, and social justice.
