SNT 505 - Community Nutrition (Nutrition and Dietetics)3 Credit(s)
This course provides students with a practice-based approach to public health nutrition processes through readings, discussions and active participation. Students will study the financial, legislative, political, sociological, and scientific aspects of public and community health and nutrition. The development of community nutrition programs and their design, implementation and evaluation will be explored. Students will also gain experiential learning through community education.
