SMT 101 - Clinical Readiness in MT (Music Therapy)

This course begins to prepare students for the clinical setting. Students will be introduced to the music therapy treatment process including varying types of assessment, formulating appropriate goals/objectives, documentation procedures, referrals, writing session plans, etc. Students will also become familiar with the American Music Therapy Associations code of ethics, professional competencies, scope of practice, and standards for clinical practice and training.
