STR 226 - Stage Management (Theatre)3 Credit(s)
A practical and theoretical introduction to the skills and responsibilities of stage managing theatrical productions and corporate events. The class will break down the job within a Theatrical Production (Pre-Production, Rehearsals, Load-in/Tech Rehearsals, Maintaining & Running the Performances) and the typical breakdown of non-theatre events. Students will practice and complete required skills by creating paperwork and their own prompt book, while also having hands-on experiences in the Department of Theatre & Dance’s productions.
