This course provides students with historical knowledge of policies and programs in the American justice system. Students will acquire the ability to analyze, critique, and provide recommendations with evidence based reasoning to professionally present in the legal, political, and media areas related to the criminal justice field. Students will gain firsthand experience presenting case law and giving recommendations in a professional manner using real world examples and applications.
