This course will provide an in-depth understanding of the various ethical and philosophical concerns facing the criminal justice field. Students will work to identify and understand ethical codes within policies, programming, and practice. Through code application, students will examine impacts and challenges of currently formed ethical concepts. Additionally, students will apply this knowledge through analyzing, critiquing, and creating recommendations for potential solutions to ethical dilemmas currently faced by areas of the criminal justice system.
