This course provides a thorough understanding and analysis of contemporary issues facing the criminal justice field currently. Students will explore and analyze various contemporary issues through ethical, political, and social influences to develop a deeper and fuller understanding of potential causes and impacts of these areas. Students will form an ability to analyze and critique current issues faced by the field, using theoretical and analytical evaluation to recommend solutions and best practices for the future.
