SNU 480 - Nursing Leadership and Management (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
This course focuses on the development of professional and leadership skills for nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on quality and safety, evidence-based practice, population health, interprofessional collaboration, and systems-based approaches to care. Ethical, legal, and policy considerations in health care are integrated. As the terminal course in the RN-to-BSN program, it culminates in an experiential/service-learning capstone project focused on quality improvement. Includes 30 clinical hours.
