Students use an inquiry-based approach to become informed evaluators of an unorthodox medical therapy. Studies in the scientific disciplines of physiology, immunology, nutrition, and pathology enable students to formulate and articulate rational conclusions concerning the validity of specific medical practices. Group investigative activities are emphasized.
