SED 240 - Parent and Family Conferencing (Education)

The effect of a child on a family is investigated. Students acquire knowledge and skills in involving parents in the educational development of programs for their children. The course is designed to develop effective techniques for conferencing, problem-solving, and establishing good working relationships with (para-)professionals and with parents/family members of children and the involvement of community resources.  Field component required. Required Clearances.


 Credits: 3.

 When Offered: Spring semester.

 Prerequisite:  SED 205 .
