A comprehensive introduction to the study of political science, public opinion, propaganda, and rhetoric, emphasizing the increasingly important role of mass communications and social media and political polling in shaping expectations about what is desirable and/or possible in contemporary politics.  Key concepts and theories are explored along with providing an introduction to the subfields of political science.
