SPY 565 - Vocational and Career Counseling (Psychology)3 Credit(s)
The course covers theories of vocational psychology, career choice and development, and the significance of the world of work throughout the lifespan and with a broad spectrum of clients. Strategies related to career exploration, career assessment, career counseling and decision-making models are emphasized. Examines career development from a systemic perspective inclusive of interrelationships among and between work, family, multicultural issues and other contextual factors. Must be completed with a grade of B- (2.67) or higher for continuation in the art therapy program.
