SNU 311 - Pathophysiology and Pharmacology II (Nursing)

Provides continued content on the pathophysiology of illness states and pharmacological therapies.  This course includes the concepts and processes of perfusion, neurologic function, and cellular regulation.  Principles of pathophysiology and pharmacology are presented in an integrated manner to provide a basis for application to nursing practice emphasis on safe, evidence-based practice of medication administration in nursing.  The course integrates anatomy, chemistry, microbiology and physiology and pharmacology and focuses on their application to clinical practice. 


Credits: 3.

When Offered: Spring semester.

Nursing majors only. 

Prerequisites: SNU 310  with a minimum grade of B-. 

Corequisites: SNU 303  and SNU 304 .
