SPT 613 - Physical Therapy Skills 2

This course will introduce students to patient management and the psychomotor skills necessary for neuromuscular physical therapy. Concepts will include the neuromuscular system as it relates to other systems, common neuromuscular pathologies, the relationship of the neuromuscular system to normal movement, and the healing and repair process as it relates to neuromuscular impairment. Students will learn the skills necessary to examine and treat common impairments related to neuromuscular conditions.   

Credits: 4.

Prerequisites:  SPT 601 , SPT 602 , SPT 603  and SPT 604 .
