SNU 304 - Health and Illness II Practicum (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
The purpose of this practicum is on continued development of critical thinking, clinical judgment skills, and time management concepts. The focus is on nursing care, including teaching and discharge planning, to promote healthy transitions for individuals and families with complex health conditions in acute care settings. The clinical experience is an opportunity to apply concepts and learning from Health and Illness 2 into the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of nursing care.

When Offered: Spring semester.
Nursing majors only.
Prerequisites: SNU 301 and SNU 302 with a minimum grade of B-.
Corequisites: SNU 303 and SNU 311 .
