SED 685 - Instructional Strategies II (Education)3 Credit(s)
This course provides aspiring teachers with the knowledge and skills they need to teach elementary science and mathematics: e.g., early ecology, geometry, and probability. Each unit begins with an exploration of content area standards, addresses best practices for linking planning, instruction, and assessment, and ends with hands-on experiences in local schools. Participants will practice differentiating instruction for individuals and groups, assessing student work, and evaluating the effectiveness of a lesson.
