SAT 525 - Art Therapy with Children (Art Therapy)3 Credit(s)
Study and practice of approaches in art therapy specific to the treatment of children. Art as therapy and therapy with children are examined. Through literature and experiential exercises, students explore the application of art therapy technique, methods of art-based assessment, and case study development to the psychological, social, and educational needs of children. Must be completed with a grade of B- (2.67) or higher for continuation in the Art Therapy program.
